This piece was designed by JORGE PENSI in 1988 and was made in Spain for KNOLL. It measures 23.6" wide (the table top), x 28.25" high, and weighs 20 lbs. The round table top is stainless steel with a concentric circle pattern acid etched into the mirror finish stainless, and features a wrapped edge. The four legged base is a very nice quality cast aluminum with thick, heavy flexible rubber foot pads, while the center column is an extruded aluminum tube.
The Pensi Collection have become Modernist design classics, and this piece has won the following awards: First place, SIDI Selection, Valencia Spain, 1988; "Delta Plate" of ADI FAD, 1988; Design Center Stuttgart Award, W. Germany, 1990; as well as numerous others.

This table is in very nice shape, has some minor scuffing on the surface. It can be disassembled into three pieces by loosening one large nut in the base. The KNOLL retail price on these was about $1,000.
